Railway and highway

In the field of railway and highway construction, YR mainly develops the following aspects

Geotextile

Reinforce the foundation:

In railway construction, if you encounter a weak foundation, geotextile can enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation. Isolation function: It is laid between different material layers to prevent them from mixing with each other.

Drainage function:

Some geotextiles have good drainage performance, which can quickly drain the moisture in the foundation and reduce the pore water pressure.

Pavement reinforcement:

Adding geotextiles to the asphalt or cement pavement of the highway can improve the crack resistance of the pavement. Slope protection: Laying geotextiles on the slopes of the highway can prevent soil erosion on the slope. For some slopes with loose soil, the protection method of combining geotextiles with vegetation can enhance the stability of the slope and play a role in greening the environment.

Filtration function:

In the drainage system of the highway, geotextiles can be used as a filter layer.

Geogrid:

This is an important geotechnical product. It has high tensile strength and is widely used in railway construction to reinforce embankments and cutting slopes. For example, in mountain railway construction, geogrids can enhance the shear strength of slope soil, effectively prevent slope collapse, and improve slope stability. At the same time, laying geogrids at the bottom of the embankment on soft soil foundation can evenly distribute the load of the embankment to the foundation and reduce the uneven settlement of the foundation.

Geomembrane:

In railway construction, if some drainage or waterproofing facilities with special structures need to be built, geomembranes can play a role. For example, in the waterproofing project of railway tunnels, geomembranes can effectively prevent groundwater from infiltrating into the tunnel, ensure a dry environment in the tunnel, and improve the durability of the tunnel structure.

GCL:

Using GCL around the underground drainage structure of the highway can prevent groundwater from eroding and damaging the drainage structure. For example, laying GCL around drainage facilities such as seepage wells and culverts on the highway can effectively protect the integrity of the drainage facilities and ensure their normal drainage function.
